Hyderabad Metro Rail to Begin with No Amenities

The 30 Kilometer stretch of Hyderabad Metro Rail will be inaugurated on 28th November. The state government is awaiting the nod of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Even though the Metro service will be inaugurated in November, the amenities will take some more time.

The Metro Stations will have parking facilities, feeder services or other amenities that are essential for smooth operation. They will be available only in a year’s time. Security features are also yet to be installed at Metro Rail stations.

The Project Concessionaire, L&T has posted private security guards at all stations, but the government will have to make its own arrangements. The state government has set November 20 as the deadline for completion of the two corridors from Nagole to Ameerpet and from Miyapur to Ameerpet.
