Hyd Police gears up for massive seizure

Hyderabad Police are gearing up to give a permanent solution for old vehicles which are remaining on the name of old buyers even after changing hands. Such vehicles if involved in accidents or traffic violations are making it difficult to penalize.

In Hyderabad alone, there are seven Lakh such vehicles in Hyderabad. Some vehicles even changes 4-5 hands. Police department is undertaking several awareness programs to educate people about the importance of changing the vehicles.

If they do not change, the department is gearing up to seize vehicles from January. After these awareness programs, such registration of vehicles have increased of late. But Police estimates that at least six Lakh vehicles may face the danger of seizure in January.
