Hyderabad Safest Metro for Women

A new survey by an online rental company, Nestaway Technologies revealed that Hyderabad is one of the safest metros for women to live in, but they have to shell out more from their pockets for rent. The majority of the respondents surveyed were from Madhapur, Gachibowli and Shamshabad areas.

Even while the rents in Hyderabad are lower than other metros, women had to shell out more for their accommodation, the survey revealed. The survey said women were willing to pay more than 50% of their monthly salaries towards rent.

While men prefer affordability and proximity to the workplace emerged as key factors, women prefer safety even though the accommodation is more than five or 10 kilometers away from their workplace, taking safety into consideration.
