BRS President KT Rama Rao has once again slammed the Congress government in Telangana for instilling fear among the poor due to recent home demolitions.
He claims these actions have driven people like Buchamma from Kukatpally to take their own lives out of fear.
KTR labeled Buchamma’s death a murder caused by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HYDRAA) and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
He accused Revanth Reddy is targeting the people of Hyderabad because they did not vote for Congress in the assembly elections.
KTR made allegations that Revanth is unfairly enforcing laws against these families while protecting influential individuals.
KTR also questioned why certain powerful individuals, including the Chief Minister’s brother, are not facing demolition notices like ordinary citizens.
He pointed out that the government had previously approved these homes and collected taxes from them, only to demolish them later.
Moreover, he accused HYDRAA of being a tool for Congress ministers to extort money from builders while neglecting the needs of everyday citizens.
KTR promised that the BRS would support those affected by these demolitions.
