I and YS are Great Friends: Chandrababu

Former Chief Minister and Opposition Leader, Chandrababu Naidu made an interesting comment in the Assembly today. “Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy is my best friend. There can be never good friends than us. We shared the same room when we were Ministers,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

“I have no grudge against him. It is just that he chose Congress and I decided to join Telugu Desam Party. We may have deferred politically but we do not have any issues on personal front. Maybe Jagan do not know about our relationship,” Chandrababu told in the house.

Chandrababu may be referring to the days during their early careers. In the pursuit of coming to Power, YSR always looked down Chandrababu as an Personal Rival. After becoming the Chief Minister, YSR even went on to comment on Chandrababu inferring the latter’s month which became highly controversial back then.

Later after YSR’s demise, Jagan always believed that Chandrababu is the reason for his stay in Jail for around 16 Months. Since the day he came to Power, Jagan is keen on pinning down Chandrababu in one case or other and send him behind the bars. The animosity is clearly visible in the ongoing Assembly session as well.
