If CM is in Secretariat, It’s ‘No Entry’ For Visitors

The Telangana Secretariat is having new rules. It has emerged that on the day the CM Revanth Reddy is in Secretariat, no visitors will be allowed into the premises.

On Tuesday, the CM was in Secretariat. Those who took visitors’ pass were stopped from entering the Secretariat in a new move. People are complaining that they were sent back as the CM was inside.

Due to this, those who came to the Secretariat for various administrative and official works had to go back, without being given clarity. It is not yet clear if the rule has been set by CM’s office or it was a step taken by special protection force. SPF looks after the security protocol of the CM.

As there were no visitor hours during the past government, the Congress government decided to have visiting hours between 3 pm and 5 pm. The idea was to allow public to talk to officials and address their grievances.

However, the new rule is drawing flak from all quarters as it is against the open-access approach that Congress propagated.
