Illegal Mining Case: HC Notices To AP Minister

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has served notices to Andhra Pradesh Health, and Family Welfare minister, Vidadala Rajini in an illegal mining case.

Incidentally, a case was lodged against the minister, saying she could have had a role to play in illegal issuance of mining permission at an assigned 91-acre land in Palnadu district.

Upon preliminary investigation, the court issued notices to the minister. The court also served notices to YS Avinash Reddy’s father, Prathap Reddy.

The court asked Rajini, Prathap Reddy, and local Tahsildar to submit their argument. Further investigation will be carried out once the said individuals submit their pleas to the High Court.

The complaint mentioned that the minister could have been indirectly involved wit the illegal mining. Next hearing has been postponed by 3 weeks.
