Censor Board to get a complete make over?

Censor Board is always abode of controversies over the years with too much of political interference and corruption. However the central government is now considering to re-look at its function and revamp the entire structure.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Arun Jaitley revealed this and is said to be in discussion with some experts to build the future role of this body with much more transparency and accountability.

Censor Board consists of non-official members and a Chairman, all of whom are appointed by the Central Government. The Censor Boards even in the states are also plagued by similar issues which drag them to controversies every other day.
