Indian Charged For Killing 4 Punjabis in Australia

An Indian-origin driver, 41, has been charged with causing the death of his four Indian passengers after his car hit a utility vehicle. The charged Harinder Singh Randhawa, 41, is still being treated in a hospital, though he is under police guard.

Randhawa will appear before the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court once he is capable. Singh was crossing an intersection in Shepparton, Victoria, Australia, in a Peugeot with four male passengers when the collision happened. The vehicle hit a Toyota Hilux ute pulling a trailer. All four passengers died on spot.

The four were visiting friends in Shepparton and all were Punjabis. The police have said that three of the four passengers got ejected out of the vehicle and they are looking at whether the passengers were wearing seatbelts. They further added it was a typical T-bone-type collision. They happen when the front of one car strikes the side of another car. The driver of the trailer was mildly hurt.
