Indian Family Dies While Crossing The US Border

In what could be said as bad news, an Indian family of four from Gujarat passed away while crossing the Canada-US border. Going into details, a group of 11 migrants from India attempted to illegally cross into the United States last week.

Due to the extreme weather conditions, the family of Jagdish Baldevbhai Patel, 39, Vaishaliben Jagdishkumar Patel, 37, and their children, Vihangi Jagdishkumar Patel, 11, and Dharmik Jagdishkumar Patel, 3 got separated from the group and froze to death due to extreme weather conditions.

On the day these four bodies were found, the cops also caught six others in connection to these immigrants crossing the US border. More investigation is now on the case and the bodies will not be sent to India and the funeral will happen in Canada.

Both Jagdish and Vaishaliben used to be teachers and left India due to their financial issues and to give their children a better future. What’s special is that the village this family belonged, half of them are already in the US illegally.
