India’s First AI Village: Guess Where

India’s first AI village is making waves and surprising many. Until recently, this village did not even have mobile phones or internet access. Today, it has earned global recognition as India’s first AI-powered village.

The village is Adavi Srirampur in Peddapalli district, Manthani constituency. Located around 250 kilometres from Hyderabad, it now enjoys high-speed internet. Children here are learning with AI tools, marking a big change in education and access to technology.

After Revanth Reddy became Chief Minister, his government decided to bring internet to one crore homes through T Fibre. Adavi Srirampur was chosen in IT Minister Sridhar Babu’s constituency. The same speed internet available in Hyderabad is now available in this village.

Students are learning through T Fibre and AI-based Perplexity tools on television screens. The school has two monitors and three digital boards. Teachers use Perplexity to guide students, giving them access to global knowledge and helping them adapt to new technology.

With T Fibre, villagers complete online tasks at home just like city residents and corporate workers. The service is free for now, but charges may be introduced later. Children of Adavi Srirampur are becoming AI-savvy and preparing for an AI-driven job market.
