The ongoing season of IPL has completed three rounds of matches with every team playing at least 3 matches. Going by the early trends, Rajasthan appears to be the best team of the tournament.
Rajasthan is leading the table with three wins in as many games and they are the only team with all the bases – batting, bowling, clinical finishing, covered equally. All their three wins have been very comprehensive and dominating.
KKR, CSK, and Gujarat are second with two wins each and the former most is the pick of the lot for now, thanks to their excellent batting depth and formidable bowling with spinners like Narine and Varun leading the charge.
Mumbai and Bengaluru are the worst-performing teams thus far with abysmal performances. Punjab is also in the same bracket but their batting department is showing good promise so things are looking encouraging for them.
SRH has one of the most balanced sides in the tournament but the Hyderabad-based franchise is yet to fire with all cylinders. Even in the game against Mumbai, the bowling was a worry. If they can rectify the minor errors in gameplay, then SRH could be the team to beat this season.
