Is Chiranjeevi Leaning Towards YSR Congress?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is the first biggie from Telugu Film Industry to reach out to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after assuming Power in 2019 elections. He went to Jagan’s residence along with his wife Surekha and congratulated him for the electoral victory.

He is also the only film personality from the film industry to extend his unconditional support to Jagan’s controversial Three Capital idea. Even Mega fans are upset with Chiranjeevi’s behavior as this is against Pawan Kalyan‘s Janasena Party stance. There are also speculations that Chiranjeevi is seeking Rajya Sabha nomination from YSR Congress.

Mega Brother Nagababu was asked about the same in an interview. “As Janasena Party, we will oppose YSR Congress and TDP. But it is a fact that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is our Chief Minister. He is the Chief Minister for us as well. Chiranjeevi and the industry will respect Jagan and will need the Governments there. There is nothing more than that,” Nagababu said.

Meanwhile, Telugu film industry biggies will be meeting YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tomorrow at his Camp Office to thank him for the Single Window system G.O. and will also request his Government’s permission to allow film shootings. Megastar Chiranjeevi is likely to head the contingent.
