Is Dawood Ibrahmin Dead?

A few media houses have been reporting that India’s Most-Wanted Terrorist, Dawood Ibrahim, and his wife have tested positive for Covid-19 and are admitted in Army Hospital, Karachi. This morning there is news that the Underworld Don succumbed due to the contagious virus.

However, Dawood’s brother Anees Ibrahim, who controls D-company’s underworld operations and finance, denies such reports. He confirmed that the contagious virus did not affect his brother Dawood and the entire family. Anees revealed this to a News Agency speaking from an undisclosed location over the phone.

Dawood patronized by Pakistan’s IST is believed to be residing in Karachi and is accused in several cases of cross-border crimes including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. Settled in Pakistan since 1994, Dawood’s family in Karachi also includes his daughter Mahrukh, who is married to the son of former Pakistan star cricketer, Javed Miandad.

However, Pakistan repeatedly denied providing shelter to him. Dawood is designated as the Global Terrorist by the United States in 2003.
