Is Jagan Repeating the Same Mistake Once Again?

The leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is gearing up for a Padayatra from November. Jagan is reportedly planning to cover all the districts of the state and knows the problems of the people. Jagan’s father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy did that and came to power. Chandrababu Naidu also walked to power before the last elections.

So, Jagan wants to do that once again. But then the timing of this Padayatra may be wrong. In the name of Odarpu Yatra and Padayatra, Jagan and Sharmila took to roads before the last elections. The programs were started well before the elections and finally Odarpu Yatra became a joke, proving to be counter-productive.

Padayatra two and half years before the elections, will not help Jagan or YSR Congress anyway. It will showcase Jagan as Power Hungry or it will become a joke like his Odarpu Yatra. Even if people take the Padayatra seriously, they would obviously have a short memory to remember that till 2019 elections. So the timing may be wrong for Jagan!
