Jagan’s 75% Jobs Rule to Backfire on AP Youth?

YSR Congress in its First Budget Session after coming to Power has reserved 75% Jobs to all the locals in all the industries in the State. This is also applicable to existing industries as well but they will have time for three years to implement the rule. This act has become a talking point across the nation.

Many felt that it is against the national integration and many opined that it will drive away from the investments from Andhra Pradesh. Before anything else, this move of Jagan may backfire on the people of Andhra Pradesh working in other states. In Karnataka, there are demands to reserve 75% of jobs to the locals.

Reports are coming in that the Government is also in favor of bringing AP like legislation. In Tamil Nadu, PMK has started demanding 80% Reservation for Tamils in Private Sector Jobs. Goa Government is working on the policy to ensure 80% of jobs in the Private Sector.

Maharashtra Government is also contemplating to ensure 80% of jobs will be held by the locals. If those states were able to implement the rule, the Andhra Pradesh people working in those states will be on the losing side. If Telangana implements the Same Rule, it will be a massive loss to AP people. Did Jagan overlook the impending dangers in bringing such Act?
