Jagan Calls Amaravati Farmers As Demons?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in Vizianagaram for the launch of a new welfare scheme ‘Jagananna Vasathi Deevena’. The scheme provides 20,000 Rupees twice a year to students pursuing higher studies to meet their lodging and boarding expenses.

While making his address, the Chief Minister made some indirect comments on the farmers of Amaravati who are agitating against the Change of the Capital. “I am fighting demons. I am fighting against not just media channels which are focusing on negative news but also maniacs in the guise of agitators, who are attacking the ruling party members,” he said.

The Chief Minister also sought the support of the people in fighting them. It is obvious that Jagan is supporting the claim of his party leaders who are calling Amaravati farmers as Paid Artists, TDP Agents, etc. The other day, Bapatla MP Nandigam Suresh complained that Amaravati Women Farmers JAC attacked his car.

At the same time, the Women farmers claimed that the men of the MP attacked them. There is no clarity about what happened but the Police registered a case. The Chief Minister seems to be buying the argument of his leaders in this issue.
