Jagan case: IAS Sri Lakshmi seeks to quash case against her

Hyderabad high court on Wednesday directed the CBI to file a counter affidavit over the plea filed by IAS Officer, Sri Lakshmi to quash the case against her in Dalmia cements scam involving a disproportionate assets case against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Sri Lakshmi told the court she had nothing to do in the case and merely followed the decision of the cabinet them to allot lime stone mines in Kadapa district to Dalmia cements factory.

However she was pinned down in the case by CBI after some witnesses named her involvement in the case. Sri Lakshmi was the secretary of industries department at that time. The next hearing of the case is posted to October 27th.
