AP Developing, But Jagan Fighting For 1 Rupee!

Not many chief ministers in India have the kind of credibility that Chandrababu has when it comes to building capital cities and expanding the IT horizon. His immaculate contribution towards the global city of Hyderabad is beyond measure.

Now, Chandrababu is on the mission of developing multiple other metro cities this time in Andhra Pradesh. He is actively focussing on Amaravati, which happens to be the capital city of Andhra while also categorically developing Vizag as the financial hub.

While there is substantial progress happening in both Amaravati and Vizag with companies being invited to set shop here, Jagan has a peculiar argument.

The government had been in inviting big companies to establish outlets and Office spaces in Andhra by offering them land parcels for ₹.99 per acre. This idea of delivering lands to big companies for such low prices is ideated to create a strong socio economic environment in the state.

It is not just a campaign to deliver land to leading companies for less than one rupee per acre. The more important thing here is that companies have a strong incentive to establish working spaces in Andhra, which would further develop the social infrastructure.

This is a collective ecosystem that goes beyond land prices, or any other commodities for that place. This is one of the principal reasons why cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Mumbai had witnessed such peak development in the early days.

Incentivising big companies to set up in Andhra which is still a developing state is the efficient way of pulling money making mechanisms to the state and that’s exactly what Chandrababu is doing now. But that’s not stopping Jagan from quarrelling over Rs 1 per acre.
