Jagan Comes Up With New Idea To Shift To Visakhapatnam!

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has completed two years in the office recently. YSR Congress’s three capitals plan did not move an inch so far. The capital shift is struck in the legal cases and there is no way out, at least for now. Meanwhile, YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy, the other day, made some crucial comments in Vishakapatnam.

“Three capitals is a decision taken already. There is no relation between the CRDA cases and Capital shift. It is the right of a Chief Minister to function from anywhere in the state. Chandrababu Naidu has functioned for some months from Hyderabad,” Vijayasai Reddy said.

Political analysts see these comments as not casual comments and suspect there may be a plan. “Shifting a capital can involve many legal processes. But a Chief Minister can function from anywhere. So, Amaravati may remain a capital on paper but Jagan may shift to Vishakapatnam,” they say.

“If Jagan functions from Vishakapatnam, Public and Real Estate perception will be like the Port City is the capital and that works politically. Once the cases are resolved, Vishakapatnam will become the Capital on Paper as well,” they add. The idea looks good on paper let us see if the judiciary can be bypassed so easily.
