Jagan Feared Rejection By Court?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has planned to go to London and Paris along with his wife, Bharati for their twenty-fifth marriage anniversary. But then, they had dropped the plan in the last minute and have headed to Shimla instead.

Jagan is on conditional bail and his passport is in the possession of the court. He is not allowed to go out of the country without prior permission from the court. Usually, the court permits but not this time. Jagan availed the provision a couple of times after coming to power.

A case filed by MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju is pending in the CBI Court. The final verdict of the case has been reserved until September 15th. The courts do not allow the accused to go out of the country when a decision of his bail is pending due to obvious reasons.

So, the Chief Minister has decided not to approach the court for permission as a rejection will mean embarrassment politically. For that reason, they have opted to go to Shimla.
