Jagan Fears CBI: National Media Journalist

The other day, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conducted a meeting of Opposition candidate to decide and put up a common candidate in President elections.

Mamata Banerjee also wrote letters to both the Telugu Chief Ministers. Telangana CM KCR refused to share dias with Congress and did not go to the meeting.

Interestingly, Jagan did not even acknowledge the invitation and obviously did not attend.

CNN – News 18 Sub-editor, Pallavi Ghosh caught hold of the invitation letter to Jagan. Posting it on Twitter, Pallavi Ghosh writes that sources say Jagan fears CBI and so did not dare to attend.

Jagan is the accused Number One is 31 CBI and ED related cases of disproportionate assets. Probably, the Chief Minister wants to stay in the good books of the BJP government so that the cases do not get expedited.

BJP’s candidate will fall short in President elections. But BJP’s candidate will cross the line with YSR Congress’s help. Jagan is expected to do that unconditionally.
