Jagan Gets It Wrong on Amaravati in Amaravati

Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be still confused about his strategy about Amaravati. Jagan who is seen as Anti-Development and Anti-Amaravati is unable to shred the image. The other day, Jagan attended the first assembly session of AP post the bifurcation in Velagapudi. Some of the farmers have arranged Lunch for all the legislators.

Jagan refused to have the meal prepared by the farmers. He went away as if he did not hear him when some farmers came to invite him. Even he ordered all the YSR Congress legislators to skip the lunch. The farmers were very disappointed as Jagan could not keep his ego aside even at the historic occasion.

Even though if they are TDP farmers, his goodwill would have been doubled if he had the lunch there but then Jagan is in his own world. Further, Jagan spoke to the media and delivered his routine speech saying that the capital is selected to benefit cronies of TDP and went on to say that Chandrababu is cheating the farmers of the area.

Further there is that talk of running from Hyderabad and Cash for Vote case etc. Jagan did not have word to speak positive about the state. It would have been better if Jagan had kept aside politics at least for one day which marked a historic decision in Andhra Pradesh history. This behaviour will only consolidate the anti-Amaravati image Jagan has.
