Jagan Government Hiding COVID Terror?

It looks like Andhra Pradesh Government is underreporting Coronavirus cases and deaths to escape criticism from the Opposition and public ire. Interestingly, this has been reported by NTV, a media channel that is inclined towards the Ruling Party.

According to the medical bulletin released on Wednesday, there have been only two deaths in the Guntur district. However, the report in NTV suggests that the burial grounds in the district are filled with dead bodies coming from COVID hospitals.

The report mentions that there are 10s of dead bodies coming to every burial ground in Guntur which paints a very scary picture of the condition. The pressure on the Burial grounds is so huge that NGOs are helping in the cremation. Transparency is very important in a pandemic as it will ensure people do not get complacent.

Underreporting will mean that people are not serious about the condition and roam freely without adhering to the COVID safety rules.
