Jagan Made Vijaya Sai the Scapegoat?

Until now, Vijaya Sai Reddy has been the mastermind behind YS Jagan and his financial dealings. YS Jagan sent Vijaya Sai to the Rajya Sabha twice from Andhra Pradesh, indicating his lack of direct relations with the people.

Suddenly, Vijaya Sai Reddy emerged into the political picture to face direct elections, as YS Jagan announced him as the YSRCP candidate from Nellore Parliament.

Vijaya Sai Reddy is a key leader in the YSRCP, serving as the second-in-command in the party. However, Jagan has been accused of using Vijaya Sai as a scapegoat from his own party, solely due to the announcement of Vijayasai Reddy as the Nellore MP candidate.

Party ranks, leaders, and even Vijaya Sai Reddy himself probably did not expect such an announcement, and Sai Reddy was reportedly shocked by the sudden decision.

In one instance, Vijaya Sai could not agree at all. Despite being told repeatedly that he has to compete, he reluctantly accepted, indicating that he had no other choice. Jagan not only assigned significant responsibilities to Sai Reddy but also issued a warning, stating that Nellore must be won under any circumstances.

Sai Reddy left the Tadepalli Palace without saying a single word in response to the Chief Minister’s words. A week before, Sarath Chandra Reddy was announced as the Nellore MP candidate from YSRCP, being a close relative to Vijaya Sai. However, within a week, Vijaya Sai came into the picture.

Reportedly, Sarath Chandra Reddy conducted a survey on people’s opinions regarding the potential result if he becomes the MP candidate from Nellore. After seeing shocking results in the survey, Sarath informed YS Jagan and Vijaya Sai that he would not contest. This led to Vijaya Sai’s name being announced as the YSRCP candidate from Nellore.

Sources suggest that Sarath also warned Vijaya Sai not to contest, stating that he might lose the election.

In comparison to Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Vijaya Sai Reddy seems to be out of the race. Vemireddy has financial strength and recognition among the people in Nellore district.

Even though Vijaya Sai has financial resources, he lacks a positive identity among the people.

The ranks of the YSRCP are dismissing all the news about Sai Reddy as rumors, with strong talk suggesting that Sai Reddy has no issues in contesting as an MP.
