Jagan Mohan Reddy Not the Chief Minister for Amaravati?

Andhra Pradesh Government’s Official Celebrations of India’s 74th Independence Day happened in Indira Gandhi Municipal Ground earlier today. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy attended and hoisted the National Flag. He received the Police Salute after that.

In his address to the state, Jagan Mohan Reddy listed various Welfare Schemes of his Government and also sang praises of his Fourteen Months of his Rule. The Chief Minister once again reiterated that the three capitals is the only way to develop the state.

“Three Capitals is the only way to develop all the three regions of the state. We will very soon lay foundation for Vishakapatnam as Executive Capital and Kurnool as Judicial Capital,” the Chief Minister announced. The speech has no mention about the farmers who have given their lands for the Capital.

“This could be a perfect occasion for the Chief Minister to say something about the farmers and try to win their confidence. His Ministers are insulting the farmers day in day out and the Chief Minister seems to be not caring as well. He is behaving as if he is not the Chief Minister for Amaravati. We are alienated in our own state,” Amaravati farmers alleged.
