Even before YSRCP chief Jagan reached Bangarupalyam in Chittoor, the YSRCP cadre has violated the police guidelines. Disregarding the police restrictions, they barged their way into the market yard.
Jagan reached Bangarupalyam on Wednesday morning to know about the problems of mango farmers.
In this backdrop, Jagan’s cadre gathered at the market yard. The police repeatedly told them that they will be allowed into the market yard after Jagan’s arrival. But the cadre did not bother to listen and pushed their way into the market yard.
The police gave permissions for 30 people at the helipad. They said 500 people can meet him at the market yard. They denied permission for road shows and rallies.
Despite this, hundreds reached the helipad. The YSRCP leaders tried to mobilize the crowds by giving free fuel for bikes and cars. The police have already given notices to 370 YSRCP people who tried to mobilize people.
The police are carrying out extensive checks on Bengaluru-Chennai highway. It is known that during Jagan’s Palnadu tour, three people died due to reckless behaviour of YSRCP cadre.
Jagan’s yatras are ending up as mere strength show efforts as nothing significant is coming out of Jagan meeting farmers. In case of mango farmers, the AP government has already addressed the issue, so there is little for Jagan to do.
Still, the YSRCP chief is adamantly going ahead with the meeting.
