The video of the police beating the followers of a rowdysheeter on main road had become viral. Jagan had strongly criticized the act. He said the Red Book constitution was in work once again.

He said that it was an act of harassment of dalit and minority youth. He called it a violation of human rights.

A bike rally will be held in Tenali from Nandivelugu to Ithanagar as a part of Jagan’s tour. Meanwhile, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita has supported the police act.

She said it was the job of the police to set such youth right. When one is wrong, they are wrong. Kulam enti, matam enti, Anita said, adding it was sad that Jagan was trying to add political colour to the issue.

For the unversed, three drunk youth attacked a constable under Tenali II town police station. They were identified as John Victor, Sheikh Babulal and Rakesh, followers of rowdysheeter Laddu.

The police took the incident seriously and beat the three youth on the main road, when everyone was watching.

The video went viral. There is talk that the police taught a lesson to the three for their behaviour against the police.
