Jagan Not Interested in Politics Earlier?

YSR Congress Honorary President Vijayamma gave a Special Interview to Sakshi TV on the occasion of Jagan’s Padayatra completing 1000 Kilometers Milestone. In the interview, she was asked about Jagan’s Political Journey so far.

“In 2009 when his father (Late YSR) asked him to contest as Kadapa MP, he is not interested. He said to keep his uncle in the fray. But YSR convinced him to contest saying that being in politics will make it easy to serve the people and his 30 years experience will come handy to Jagan,” Vijayamma Revealed.

Jagan Mohan Reddy won that election comfortably from Congress’ Bastion and later deferred to Congress high command for not making him the Chief Minister after his father’s sudden demise. He floated YSR Congress Party and the rest is known to all of us.
