Jagan Reddy Turns ‘All Free Reddy’

If YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has his way and comes to power, Andhra Pradesh may plunge into darkness. The Opposition Leader who is desperate for Power, the other day announced that he will be giving 200 Units of Power for free every month if voted to power.

200 Units is like almost 80-90% of the households will come under that category. Even with the households which have Fridge, TV and AC with occasional usage will qualify for this scheme and if that happens, the discoms will be doomed.

Already the discoms are debt-ridden due to the subsidies offered by the government. 200 Units for free will mean that they are gone. “This scheme if Jagan is really serious about will make Andhra Pradesh dark. Even Rich States cannot afford it,” a Power Expert said.

Besides this scheme, Jagan already announced Prohibition by 2024, 15000 for School Going Students, 20000 for Hostel Fee, Free Engineering and Medicine, 2000 Rupees Pensions, Pension Age lowering to 45 years, Free Housing to Poor, Complete Loan Waiver to Dwacra women etc which are all very costly affair.
