Jagan Risking Political Career For KCR?

Jagan and KCR worked together to defeat their common enemy, Chandrababu Naidu in 2019. We have seen Jagan giving away assets in Hyderabad without any bargain immediately after coming to power.

But when KCR announced a national party, BRS, Jagan is staying away so as not to irk the BJP. But he is lending support from behind the scenes. We have seen Andhra Pradesh run RTC buses to bring people to BRS’s Khammam meeting.

Now, Jagan is trying to help KCR retain Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Ponguleti was elected as Khammam MP on the YSR Congress ticket in 2014 and later joined TRS.

It was Jagan who sent Ponguleti to TRS to maintain good relations with KCR.

There are reports that Ponguleti is going to join BJP and he already started giving statements in that direction.

Rumors say that to do the damage control for KCR, Jagan himself entered the fray. He called Ponguleti to Tadepalli and is trying to dissuade him from leaving KCR. We will have to see if these efforts pay off.

But then, if successful, that will rub Modi and Amit Shah on the wrong side and we may see CBI and ED in action.
