When Jagan Stunned His Own Party Leaders?

Strange are the ways of Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The other day in the assembly, Jagan claimed that Minister Pulla Rao’s wife purchased the properties of disputed Agrigold which duped investors of several 100s of Crores. Jagan went on to say he has all proofs for his allegations.

Usually, when such challenges are made, the ruling side will be on back foot. But both Pulla Rao and Chandrababu accepted the challenge.immediately. Naidu went on to say he will appoint a house committee but the opposition insisted on a Judicial Inquiry.

Chandrababu accepted immediately and made a challenge that either Pulla Rao or Jagan only one should remain in the house in this case. He challenged that Pulla Rao will resign as a Minister and MLA if proven guilty or else Jagan should do the same. In a way, Chandrababu did what Jagan demanded.

But then to the surprise of his supporters, Jagan did not take up the challenge and insisted on allowing him to place the evidence before the house. Placing evidence before a Judiciary is much better than placing it before the house. Even YSR Congress Leaders did not understand the logic behind Jagan’s move. Is that means Jagan put up false allegations on Pulla Rao? People will get that doubt for sure after the entire episode.
