Jagan Takes Fight Onto The Virtual World

As 2019 elections are nearing, the political heat in Andhra Pradesh is already on. While the battle is fought on the ground and media so far, slowly the social media is also turning into a battleground. The usually not so active Jagan Mohan Reddy is making political statements every other day challenging the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu.

Jagan seems to be trying to capitalize the anger of the youth on BJP in Social media and channel their support towards YSR Congress. Chandrababu Naidu on the other side is keeping a strategic silence on politics on Twitter and is only posting the usual updates on general administration. It has to be seen if Chandrababu will also resort to Political Challenging.

Social Media Support is least for YSR Congress among the three main parties. It is the highest for TDP and Janasena is ranked second due to Pawan Kalyan’s filmy following as well. Jagan is trying to make amends for it with aggression on the social media. It has to be seen if that will make a difference for YSR Congress at least from now.
