Jagan To File A Case Against KCR?

Secretary for Energy Department and Chairman, Srikant Nagulapalli has announced that Government is going to file a defamation case against Andhrajyothy and Eenadu Newspapers for intentionally misguiding people about power cuts in the state.

“We have repeatedly clarified that there are no power cuts in the state. But these Newspapers are intentionally misleading the people by saying that there are power cuts. We have uninterrupted 24*7 quality power,” the IAS officer announced in a statement.

“If there are no power cuts in the state, people will obviously know as they get to directly experience. What is this misleading?” people on social media criticize. Some even mock the Government if it is also filing a defamation case on Telangana CM KCR. The other day, CM KCR ridiculed that those who predicted shortage of power themselves do not have power now.

Interestingly, Government adviser Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy, a few days ago, announced that there is an international crisis on coal supply and people may have to brace up for power cuts.
