Jagan To Retain Four Ministers?

The other day, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has mentioned about the cabinet expansion to his cabinet colleagues and asked them to sacrifice and confine to party works ahead of the elections.

Previously, Jagan has said that he is likely to change his entire cabinet after two and a half years to give chance to others. But then, it will not be a complete overhaul and some existing ministers will be retained.

Buzz is that the Chief Minister will retain Botsa Satyanarayana, Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy, Kodali Nani, and Perni Nani from his existing ministers. There are rumors of Botsa being sent to Rajya Sabha so this is surprising.

Peddireddy may be continued to continue hold over Chittoor district. Kodali and Perni may be retained just for being the voice against Chandrababu Naidu. But then, if both of them are retained, Jagan may be breaking a norm that he is going to set.

Jagan is thinking to have one minister per every new district (26). But both the Nanis are from the same district (Machilipatnam). Meanwhile, the expansion may happen around Ugadi next month.
