Leaders should never treat people as their slaves and do whatever they wish. If they do, they will eventually face the people’s wrath.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his YCP party leaders are experiencing such wrath from the people of Andhra Pradesh after their loss in the 2024 general elections.
Recently, young leaders from Jana Sena removed the name “Jaganmohanapuram,” which YCP leaders had given to their village “Polavaram.”
This village is situated in the Kakinada rural mandal. The arch is situated near the Nemam layout on the route between Thammavaram and Polavaram villages.
During their tenure, YCP leaders made hungama by erecting arches and pylons at government housing facilities for the underprivileged.
On December 25, 2020, former CM Jagan inaugurated a housing facility in the Komaragiri layout in the U.Kothapalli mandal.
To grab Jagan’s attention, YCP leaders set up banners and pylons along his route. As part of it, they erected a large arch on the way leading to Polavaram and renamed it Jaganmohanapuram.
The local villagers questioned the YCP leaders about the renaming of their village. Using their power, the leaders threatened the villagers.
The villagers waited patiently for the right moment. Now, with Jagan getting dethroned and the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance in power, a few young Jana Sena leaders climbed up the arch, removed Jagan’s photos and name, and hoisted their party’s flag.
