YS Jagan Mohan Reddy constructed a house in Tadepalli in 2019 to prove that he has no intention of changing the capital from Amaravati. Back then, he did Gruhapravesham in February, just a couple of months before the elections.
People of Krishna and Guntur districts trusted Jagan and gave an overwhelming majority for the YSR Congress.
Thanks to Jagan, Amaravati became a Ghost city and the farmers have been on the roads for more than 1400 days now.
Cut to 2024 now, Jagan is constructing a Mahal in Vishakapatnam to shift there. He is going to do Gruhapravesham months before the elections just like in the case of the 2019 elections.
“He set his foot in Amaravati and we have seen the damage it has suffered. Now, he is going to set foot in Vishakapatnam. The people there better be careful. In fact, the destruction there began much in advance. We have seen how Rushikonda is destroyed to construct his Mahal,” Amaravati JAC Convenor, Kolikapudi Srinivasa Rao says.
It has to be seen if Vizag people will be gullible like the people of Krishna and Guntur districts.
People of Vizag gave four out of four seats in the city to TDP even in Jagan’s wave in 2019. We will have to see how they vote in 2024 with Jagan trying to hoodwink them in the name of Executive Capital.
