Janasena Comes With A Risk For TDP

Janasena President Pawan Kalyan has hinted about an alliance with TDP. There are many speculations about how the seat-sharing will be between the two parties.

TDP is expecting the support of the Kapu community in Godavari districts with Janasena. But experts say that it is not as easy as it appears.

“Traditionally the Kapu community and the BCs of Godavari districts are always at loggerheads. Both sides do not see eye to eye. Rarely do they vote together. So, there is a risk of TDP missing BC vote,” political experts warn.

“Chandrababu committed the same mistake in 2014-19. It appeared like he is appeasing the Kapu community too much and BC voters who stood with TDP traditionally drifted to YSR Congress. So, Chandrababu should handle the issue delicately,” they add.

Pawan Kalyan has a lot of young voters who are majorly cinema fans. However, they are very critical of TDP ever since the breakout between Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu. The vote transfer from them is also doubtful is another concern.
