Janasena To Give Local Elections A Miss?

Andhra Pradesh Local Body Poll Bugle Sounded After High Court Gives Its Nod for the conduct of the elections. The Ruling party is eager to replicate its Assembly Elections Success in this elections as well while the Opposition Parties would like to show their impact.

However, a big trouble is brewing for Janasena Party which is completely unprepared without any grassroots level machinery. Janasena Party has decided not to contest in Telangana Municipal Elections. It has asked interesting candidates to file nominations as Independents and promised to offer support from the party.

Political Observers are expecting the same in Andhra Pradesh so that the party can escape the embarrassment. But then such a move will send a wrong signal to its electorate. Let us see what Pawan Kalyan decides. As per the election schedule released by the State Election Commission, the notification for ZPTC and MPTC election would be issued by January 17th and the election will be held on February 8th.

The results would be announced on February 10th. The Mandal Parishad president and Zilla Parishad chairman would be elected by February 15th. Likewise, the notification for the Panchayat election would be released on February 8th and elections would be completed by March 3rd.
