Janasena’s Glass Symbol Goes To Another Candidate in Tirupati

In what can be termed as a setback to BJP and Janasena coalition, Election Commission had allotted the ‘Glass Symbol’ to the candidate of Navatharam Party in Tirupati By-election. Janasena has used the Symbol in the last Election but could not get the required percentage of votes.

With that, Janasena is no longer a Registered party and so can not have a reserved Symbol. So, the Glass Symbol has gone into free symbols list and is allotted to the Navatharam party candidate. With very few days left to the Election, it is not easy to take the issue to the electorate.

And so, there is a high chance of cross voting happening to the Symbol which means a big loss to the BJP candidate. Janasena Supporters are angry about this loss and are also angry with BJP for not managing little things like this despite being in power at the center.

Tirupati By-election will happen on April 17th and the Results will be out on May 2nd.
