Journalism Or Sadism, Asks Kavitha

In Telangana politics, if there is one name that is hotly being debated, then it’s Kalvakuntla Kavitha. All kinds of stories about her political future are being circulated on social media and media.

Opposition leaders are commenting not just about her exit from BRS, but about she launching a new party. They have also named the party’s name, the launch date and even the party’s agenda.

Kavitha had maintained stoic silence all of yesterday despite rumours. She did not address the media denying the rumours. But she has finally responded to one media’s commentary.

Kavitha chose X vis-a-vis a press conference to point out that the stories published in that particular media were ‘fake’. She put up two stories – one about she trying to mediate with the Telangana Congress to join the party. Second was about she being adamant about walking out of the BRS party, if she is not elevated.

Kavitha simply stamped ‘FAKE’ on both the stories and said – the paper printed the stories without talking to me. Is it journalism or sadism?

Now, will Kavitha address media to kill the rumours or will she wait till the right time to announce her political agenda?
