Vijayawada Third ADJ Court Judge Satyanand came in his place.

Kodi Kathi case entered a crucial stage after NIA recently filed an affidavit in the court that there is no criminal conspiracy involved in the case.

The NIA also said that there is no need for a deeper investigation into the case as asked by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.

The court recently asked Jagan Mohan Reddy to come to the court and give his statement but the Chief Minister refused to attend citing ‘Traffic’ problems. He asked to appoint an advocate commissioner so that the evidence will be recorded in his presence.

Meanwhile, the accused Janupalli Srinivasa Rao aka Kodi Kathi Srinu is languishing in jail for more than four years without bail as the trial did not begin yet.
