KA Paul’s “Saapam” Worth Rs 22 Lakh Crores?

Gautam Adani, who was briefly the richest man in India, surpassing Mukesh Ambani suffered a massive cut in net worth following the plummeting of his company stock price.

Now, Telugu states self-claimed politician KA Paul has come down on Adani and even claimed he is the reason behind the plummeting of Adani stock.

“I was agitated when I heard that Vizag Steel Plant, the pride of Telugu people was getting sold to a Gujarati, Gautam Adani. I was perplexed by it. I then put a shaapam (curse) on him,” Paul said.

“What happened due to my saapam? This Adani lost Rs 15 lakh crore in the stock market in January and he lost another Rs 7 lakh crore in February” Paul claimed.

Paul claims that Adani lost Rs 22 lakh crore due to his saapam. This comment in now going viral on social media and it is leaving netizens in splits.

For the unversed, Adani stock lost valuation at an alarming rate after Hindenburg research journal rolled out a report, saying Adani company has many unsolicited foreign investments. This is one of the biggest losses in the Indian stock market in recent years.
