In an interesting turn of events, Prajanshanthi party chief, KA Paul who usually turns active in Telugu states politics just before the elections, has faced a jolt at the Supreme Court.
Incidentally, Paul filed a case against the fire accident in the newly-built Telangana secretariat at the Apex court. The case came to hearing today and interestingly, Paul himself argued the case.
The Prajashanthi party chief argued in the court and asked for a CBI inquiry in connection with the recent fire accident at the secretariat. He turned lawyer for this case and argued on his own.
“Do you think the supreme court should commission a CBI enquiry against every fire accident in the country? Has an FIR been lodged against the fire accident in the secretariat?” The apex court questioned Paul.
In response, KA Paul told the Telangana government has reduced his security and that he has a life threat.
The apex court was evidently displeased with Paul’s argument and asked him not to club one case with another. The supreme court dismissed the case immediately in an expected jolt to Paul.
