DMK also allied with the Congress for the upcoming polls. It is heard that the seat-sharing has also been finalised. Kamal is expected to campaign for these candidates in the elections.

DMK will offer a Rajya Sabha seat for Kamal Haasan’s MNM in 2025. The parties are expected to continue their alliance in the 2026 Assembly elections too.

Kamal Haasan stated MNM in 2018. At first, MNM contested in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls and didn’t win a single seat. The party also failed to secure at least one seat in the 2021 Assembly elections of Tamil Nadu. Now, Kamal decided not to contest at all in the 2024 elections.
