Kuchibhotla’s Accused to Face Death Penalty?

Adam Purinton, a Navy veteran who killed Srinivas Kuchibhotla on February 22nd has been charged by the US court under murder and attempted murder cases. The possible commands for Adam are lifetime prison or penalty of death.

With the witnesses confirmed that Adam yelled racist comments at the Indian-origin men Kuchibhotla and Madasani, also shot them with the gun, while Ian Grillot came in rescue, the court indicted him on federal hate crime and firearms charges. The announcement was made on Friday by the US justice department.

As opinionated by the US media, Adam might face the penalty of death while the court would take a call later on whether to give him the death penalty, or the lifetime prison. Srinivas Kuchibhotla’s death in Kansas came as an outburst of the hate crimes in the US lately.
