Kavita’s Temple Politics: Blames Andhra Leaders

Kalvakuntla Kavita was at Vemulawada Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy temple today on the pious occassion of Mahasivaratri.

The BRS leader spoke to media after her darshan. But it has to be noted that despite being in the temple, she hit out at Andhra leaders for not giving prominence to Vemulawada.

She said it was KCR who carved Sicilla district and named it Rajanna Sircilla. 30 acres were bought from the government for a lake at the pilgrim town, said Kavita. She stated that Rs 250 crore was spent on the temple by KCR.

Kavita said the change of government stalled the developmental activities which was not right. Kavita said temple development must continue irrespective of government change.

Kavita added that the present government must develop halls, wedding halls and choultries for the comfort of devotees.
