Kalvakuntla Kavitha, president of Telangana Jagruthi, has stepped up her organisational efforts by announcing new committees to strengthen the movement overseas. In her latest move, Kavitha declared that working committees will be formed for South Africa, Zimbabwe and Norway. She stated that the members will be appointed immediately and asked them to focus on achieving their goals while spreading the reach of Jagruthi.
Telangana Jagruthi already has a presence in 14 countries, and this expansion marks a significant step in its international outreach. Kavitha, who has previously expressed her ambition to become the Chief Minister of Telangana in the future, is now channeling her energy into mobilising the Jagruthi cadre both in India and abroad.
On Saturday, Kavitha met her father and BRS chief KCR, who was holding discussions with party leaders regarding the Jubilee Hills by-election, local body polls and the Kaleshwaram project report. The meeting highlighted her active involvement in both organisational and political fronts.
Rumours had earlier suggested Kavitha’s possible exit from BRS. However, her latest initiatives indicate that she continues to hold influence in both Telangana Jagruthi and her party. With her balancing roles, she seems determined to keep her political presence strong at multiple levels.
