Kalvakuntla Kavitha has made a rather sensational statement that has created a political buzz. She spoke to a television channel and during her interview, she said she will become the chief minister in future.

Kavitha has been in news for distancing herself from BRS and working with Telangana Jagruthi. There were also rumours about her launching her own party.
Kavitha told the channel that if not now, she will become the CM in 10-15 years. She also said that those in public life would want to reach the highest position to serve people. She added that Harish Rao also must be having such aspirations.

Kavitha also clarified that Telangana Jagruthi was not a political entity. She said that both BRS and Telangana Jagruthi must be strong. Kavitha said she is fighting for her self respect.
Kavitha also clarified that she is in BRS and will continue to be in BRS. She said KCR was her leader and added that she faced several difficulties in BRS in the past 11 years. She agreed that a gap developed between her and KTR after her letter was leaked.

The Telangana Jagruthi president said that KCR will be the CM till the end. She expressed her anguish that she couldn’t work for Nizamabad like she did in Gajwel and Siricilla.
She was not given funds by the party, said Kavitha adding that there was a need to clean the party by KCR. She said she didn’t get support from BRS during CBI, ED cases.
Kavitha said it was her father who paid for her court cases. She said her father warned her about her arrest.
