Harish Rao Manages Mainstream Media For BRS?

Kalvakuntla Kavitha addressed the media for the first time since her suspension from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). She also confirmed her resignation from her MLC position.

Since her fallout with the party, many speculated that the rift was between Kavitha and her brother KTR. While the sibling tension remains apparent, Kavitha has now shifted focus toward Harish Rao and Santosh Rao.

In strong remarks, Kavitha openly called them corrupt. She also warned that they might try to sideline both KTR and KCR to take control of the party.

During the press conference, Kavitha made an eye-catching revelation. She claimed that Harish Rao handles the mainstream media for BRS, while KTR oversees the party’s YouTube media and digital outreach.

She stated that managing mainstream media requires a different skill set. Kavitha alleged that Harish Rao, being more composed than KTR, was entrusted with that task by KCR. In contrast, she said KTR’s ego prevents him from dealing effectively with senior media personnel.

She added that KTR has long been in charge of BRS’s social media operations, which aligns with his current role in managing YouTube media.

Kavitha accused both media arms of targeting her unfairly. She implied that Harish Rao’s control over traditional media was being used to attack her image.

Currently, Harish Rao is abroad on a personal trip. It remains to be seen how he will respond to Kavitha’s strong allegations.

Although many expected her to announce a new political party, Kavitha chose not to. She may be saving that move for later.

Interestingly, she ended the press meet with the slogans: “Jai Telangana, Jai KCR.”
